Farm Diversification Project
Project Aims: The project plans to include providing perimeter planting attractive to insects, sowing wild flowers, providing habitats to assist winter insect survival and encouraging beekeepers to place hives at Gillingshill. When mature, each tree will produce approximately 5L juice/year bringing annual production to around 10,000 no. 485ml bottles. Fife residents, communities, schools, other organisations and attractions will be invited to either sell their apples to East Neuk Orchards or exchange them for a proportion of the juice created.
